About Us

Our nearly two hundred members serve our Alaskan communities.

The Alaska Society has provided student awards, grades 5-12, via the American History Essay Contest, Patriots of the American Revolution Essay Contest, Good Citizen Award and Essay, and JROTC Medals. Local winning essays progress from the Chapter level, through the State and the Division levels to National awards.

We welcome new American Citizens at Naturalization ceremonies.

We work with Wreaths Across America to mark veteran’s graves in December

We have served Alaska’s veterans in Fairbanks, Anchorage, Matanuska-Susitna Valley, Kodiak and Juneau. 

The officers of Alaska Society and our chapters serve for a two-year term.
